Ventured out to the Superstition Mountains (AZ) in the late afternoon in search of weather. While preoccupied shooting the Elvis Chapel I noticed a haboob approaching from the south. It was traveling at such a clip that I barely had time to locate a place and set up before it totally engulfed the entire front range. Quite dramatic. I continued to fire away until the storm got right up on me and forced me into my car. Amazing to witness it up close.

I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene.
