Giraffes were plentiful on the African Savanna of Murchison Falls National Park (Uganda). It seemed that you could find one behind every other acacia tree. I thought it would be interesting to snap a head shot of one of these amazing animals. Their spotted patterns are unique to each giraffe. It is their own 'fingerprint'. And their apparent horns are actually called ossicones. Both males and females have them. Ref. 2031

I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene.
