Hedgehog Bloom metal print by Rick Furmanek. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

HEDGEHOG BLOOM by PHOTOGRAPHER RICK FURMANEK
Headed out to Peralta to experiment with my extension tubes on my macro lens. The Hedgehog Cacti were in full bloom and loaded with pollen seeking would-be transporters.
The only downside of the trip was while I scooted around on the ground being totally preoccupied with my composition, I was unaware I was collecting cactus spines on both legs and both glutes. I always carry a plastic comb for situations like this as it easily removes them. Ref. 2248
