IN A DRY AND THIRSTY LAND by PHOTOGRAPHER RICK FURMANEK

Winter rains in the desert bring the promise of abundant wildflowers in the Spring and a healthy hatch of wildlife. They also provide unique waterfall scenery such as this one in the Superstition Mountains of the Sonoran desert. Ref. 7090

I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene. This exposure served to influence my move from film to digital photography. The Apple QuickTake was my first digital camera. From there I moved to Olympus and finally settled on Canon.
