One thing I can say about visiting Africa in early September is that it was HOT! During the day animals searched for any form of relief from the heat. I loved this lone giraffe standing motionless in the sliver of shade provided by this acacia tree that had served as table fare earlier for both giraffe and elephant. Ref. 2148

I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene.
