Ventured out to the Four Peaks Wilderness area in south central Arizona in anticipation of an approaching winter storm in the high desert. As the first wave of clouds began their descent the jet stream began to create unique shapes, lasting for a moment and then moving on. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time for framing this lone tree juxtaposed to this particular form in the sky. Ref. 2496

I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene. This exposure served to influence my move from film to digital photography. The Apple QuickTake was my first digital camera. From there I moved to Olympus and finally settled on Canon. Self-taught in both photography and digital processing, I count myself fortunate to have had access to Adobe Photoshop almost daily for 20+ years. I hope to always remain a student of the craft.
