I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene. This exposure served to influence my move from film to digital photography. The Apple QuickTake was my first digital camera. From there I moved to Olympus and finally settled on Canon. Self-taught in both photography and digital processing, I count myself fortunate to have had access to Adobe Photoshop almost daily for 20+ years. I hope to always remain a student of the craft.

Along the journey I've been fortunate to have had my work recognized by National Geographic, Arizona Highways and Outdoor Photographer Magazine, along with live interviews on The Weather Channel featuring my monsoon photography and recognition on various popular websites such as My Park Photos, Earth Shots and ABC15 Arizona. I am humbled and count it a privilege to have had my work appreciated by varied artists and followers of fine art photography.

I enjoy venturing out and about and capturing my world behind the lens. I am a passionate bass angler and my 4Runner can often be found loaded with both fishing and camera gear. I have always been drawn to the outdoors and have explored the desert Southwest (Arizona) for the last thirty years where my wife and I have raised our two children. I am also a devoted follower of Jesus, an executive pastor at Evident Life Church in Gilbert, an author and a musician (bass guitar).
