A SONORAN BOUQUET by PHOTOGRAPHER RICK FURMANEK
Spent a sunny afternoon last week driving the desert looking for various arrangements of saguaro bouquets. This year has produced an abundance of the white flowers which seem to be trying to make up for the absence of our spring bloom. The challenge is getting up high enough to look down into the flower where it doesn't have the appearance of one straining to look up. I have a few spots located where I can drive or walk at eye level to these giants thus permitting me to gaze down into the flower. I loved the dappled green background for this particular shot. Ref.
