DAYDREAMING IN THE TREES by PHOTOGRAPHER RICK FURMANEK
While visiting Uganda on a photo safari we trekked into the Budongo Rain Forest in search of the Chimps of the Budongo. We were fortunate to find them within the first two miles or so. Unannounced, we suddenly found ourselves surrounded by both young and old chimpanzees. It seemed that everywhere we looked there was one sitting, walking, or hanging. I especially liked this chimp's pose as he seemed to be daydreaming. Ref. 1570
