I have a favorite location in the Arizona White Mountains where I seem to return to again and again where there is a stand of aspens (approximately five hundred trees) surrounded by acres and acres of grassland on three sides. At the right time of day it provides a bounty of photographic opportunities. There is nothing quite like the experience of looking up while lying on soft blanket of aspen leaves. I believe I could have dozed for hours in this spot. Ref. 3274

I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene. This exposure served to influence my move from film to digital photography. The Apple QuickTake was my first digital camera. From there I moved to Olympus and finally settled on Canon. Self-taught in both photography and digital processing, I count myself fortunate to have had access to Adobe Photoshop almost daily for 20+ years. I hope to always remain a student of the craft.
