TWILIGHT IN THE CANYON by PHOTOGRAPHER RICK FURMANEK
I was excited about my first trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for a photo shoot. Having spent many a moments on the South Rim I was ready for a new vantage point. Upon arrival we located our cabin, dropped off our overnight stuff, and headed out to Cape Royal for the last bit of light. The haziness from prescribed burns on the North Rim northwest of the Canyon provided some gorgeous lighting opportunities. Ref. 3031

About Rick Furmanek
I've always had a passion for artistic expression with my camera. As an industry specialist in the mid-90's I served as the Operations Manager/Technical Trainer in the Apple Computer technical support division in Tempe, AZ, just when PowerMacs were hitting the scene. This exposure served to influence my move from film to digital photography. The Apple QuickTake was my first digital camera. From there I moved to Olympus and finally settled on Canon.
